One of my favorite places to get the full English breakfast. The beans are not too sweet, and the plating of the food is neat and thoughtful. The ambiance of the interior is very cozy.

An absolute unit of an English breakfast. Homemade, everything made from scratch. As authentic of an English breakfast experience as you can find in London, they don't season everything super much here so adjust or add salt as your please. The sausage is huge, and one portion can be your calories for the day. Would definitely recommend you starting off your hungry mornings here!

It's not necessarily the food, but the atmosphere.
I really wanted to have an English breakfast and read raving reviews about Terry's cafe.
My wife and I came relatively early in there was already a short line outside. As we agreed to share a table with another couple, we got in within a few minutes.
The place itself is... like a time capsule. The decor, the music, the atmosphere - It feels genuine, not too "forced," and takes you back to a different time. It's a tiny restaurant, almost no room to walk between the tables, but you still don't feel cramped. I really like that part.
The food - Well, maybe English Break is not for me. Everything we were served felt fresh, well cooked, but I just didn't like it. I'm not blaming the place for that - I'm pretty sure it's just me. The food felt bland, the sausage was not to my taste at all, the beans were nothing special, and everything needed more salt.
I would like to emphasize again - I don't think it's something wrong in how they make it. My wife actually really enjoyed the food. So I guess it's just me. I still think it's a "hidden gem" and worth a visit, but you might find out that English Breakfast is not for your taste. -

A great spot for a hearty English breakfast and bottomless cups of tea! I loved looking at all the black-and-white photographs around the wall, and the staff was ever so patient with the many refills I requested of their house tea (absolutely delicious!). I was not quite in the mood for a traditional breakfast so I opted for the Fancy Eggs -- two fried eggs with mature cheddar and parsley on soft but crusty toasted bread -- and was pleasantly full by the end of it!

Came here with a friend to experience the classic English breakfast and were happy to be able to find a table right away.
After looking through the menu, I decided to go with the blowout, which ended up being plenty of food. The eggs, bacon, sausage, and beans were all very good. The bubble wasn't my favorite, but that might just be my American taste buds.
Overall, this is a cute little spot that serves up great breakfasts. Service was friendly and attentive and food came out quickly.
